Searching for things with an earthly gain

Happy I'll be to lay my earthly burdens down
For I shall meet Him in Heaven on the Judgment Day
(I know that) Jesus is waiting, He will guide me all the way

As I travel here, many days are weary
Burdens sometime are so hard to bear
(But when I) see my dear Savior hangin' on a cross
(I know that) Jesus is waiting for my entance there

Many times I pray for His love to guide me
Guide me from pitfalls and this earthly strife
(And then I) See a light shining through the clouds above me
(I know that) Jesus is waitin' with eternal life
