Just a Spark

I saw a light and it shined brightly
Like a beacon in the dark
It took my hand and it showed me
What can come from just a spark

Like a speck into the twilight
Out of nothing we embark
On a path from the sun, it's never done
It all starts from just a spark

Oh but on it's own
It is nothing and it's gone
With the air we breath
Sometimes a fire starts, and oh it rages on

When the rain comes to take you away
It can't wash you from my heart

We are bound by every hurdle
And those pastures painted green
We'll still be searching for the answers
What we are is in between

Let's forget all of those reasons
The goal can't be to leave your mark
Inspiration is remembrance
And it all starts with just a spark
