Mysterious Mystery
They come from behind with their swaying words
They don’t believe what he said
Preconceived notions and ideologies
They bring their falsehoods into it
And some think we agree
But we don’t, no, we’re not the same breed
It brings indignation up from within me
They would corrupt its simplicity
I feel as though I could weep
What a beautiful gift I received
Yet they say there’s more to it
No, there’s nothing more to it, I know it
Whatever happened to perfect certainty?
A mysterious mystery
We know but we don’t know
You can know too
But only if you remain, only if you remain
And if you don't, what did it mean to begin with?
What foolishness
Let this be a warning
Trample not the blood which has been spilt
You’ve built your house in a marsh
I’ve built my house on the rock
