Don’t be a people pleaser
No attention, no bad intentions
Just trying to get by on this earth
All alone, all by myself

Cause every one of you does the same thing
You drag into all your drama, your fears, your insecurities
Calm down, take a chill pill
Leave me to myself
Only time I don’t wanna be alone is if I find her
So note to self
Don’t befriend, don’t be friends
If you do, well, you already know how it’ll end
You know how it always ends

Yeah, they let you down
They let you drown
They ignore you, cheat you
Break you, kill you, manipulate you
Bend you, break you, and destroy you

So I’m asked a question
“Why would you want loneliness?”
Well I must answer you with this question
How can I feel, with all this brokenness?
