There Will Be Reverb (Skit)

Lucas Harrison

I had a dream, no, a vision last night
This guy, he stood up high and had such might
I thought that he might shatter the ground
But instead a small crowd gathered 'round
We came from near and far away
From Donutstropolis to Paraguay
Just to hear what this man may say
What holy truth may come that day
Louder than megaphones,
A presence bigger than mega phones
But soon a silence descended upon us all
As the man stood upon the hill so tall
We started to think, "Man, this guy's kinda lame"
But he would then call out his name
I am Reverb
The man echoed, and conjured up a section of cellos
I am inevitable
He swiftly bellowed, and got rid of the section of cellos
A man in the crowd lost both his ears
And soon there was no more to hear
The man called Reverb had disappeared

I jolted awake, at first afraid
But I soon rose up from the shade
As I lifted off the bed,
A voice soon echoed in my head:
Only you may break the box,
It said,
Now go, recruit the man named Cage
And with that, I had my sacred mission
Listen to the reverberations
Find Nic Cage and tell the nation
It simply must be
We all must see
