Resolution one

Whereas I’ve been haunted
And that’s pretty much stayed the same
Like a friend I can rely on
Yet keeps on forgetting my name

Whereas every word I had written
Fell apart when you looked underneath
But when I said “this year”
That’s something I still can believe

So tell me your plans when the season is through
And I’ll tag along if my condition improves
Because I resolve to catch up on some unsubmitted dues
Oh I resolve to find out for myself if it’s all true
