Everyone sees a cross
For what it is
It's not a place of hope
It's a place of suffering
Everyone sees a grave
For what it is
It's not a door to victory
It's a final ending

But when a Savior
Chooses to make a sacrifice
It shows me what Calvary
Really looks like

Like burdens being lifted
Like sinners finally free
