Arise of the Anathema
Arise Of The Anathema
- The slumber's end -
A deafening sound from beyond. An odd motion in a perfectly structured universe. A call of mercy, a monstrous shriek from the puppets of the Almighty.
And they have been heard.
The murderous perpetrations of the Catalyst and the Lords eventually led the Creator to blink out of its sleep, engendering the slow but inevitable awakening of Its omniscient eye.
The One-Above-All became aware of this treason. Such a betrayal could not last any longer, as the Creator had to witness the fall of Its lackeys across the universe.
Snapping out of its mind with enraged madness, the Great Architect reclaimed Its power, hidden deep into infinite celestial grandeur.
The Creator is everything, He is above all.
His answer will come. He shall crush them.
From the deepest slumber I awake
Absolute clarity fills my air
As I stare at the embodied fate
Of my magnificent art and of my pawns
Such a disillusionment, a betrayal to my creation
But with pure authority I reign upon this universe
Sitting on my unseen throne
I witness this abhorrence, a shameful slight
I am the father of everything, the reason for all that lives!
I shall regain my stature, almighty force of yore!
Still I am an anathema, a pariah
Among the wise men I despise
Envious of my boundless virtue
Desperate to reclaim my former strength
They foist their will upon the weak
They won’t reach this ideal they conceived
And I will reconquer what was taken
I stand still, unyielding above everything
As I redeem my sway
A malediction will strike your scheme
Fool, you thought you were the sovereign,
Don’t forget that I am the essence
Sullen awakening from this abysmal torpor
Listen to my voice, fear these mighty words
This world is a mirror of the perfection I symbolise
I am... your paragon!
Arise my swelling madness
And sail into the depths
So hear my laughter
A frantic scream, an echo from beyond
Slavery, mockery, is all you deserve
For you are my servants, you belong to me,
The horrible yet perfect warden
Nine holy vultures won’t change my reign
You shall serve me,
You shall serve me.
