Tranquil Peace
Road taken
Road remembered
From before we knew to walk
Ground rotten and rugged
Ground walked too many moons
Shinning on the bedrock of loneliness
Earth burned and watered by deadly fumes
Earth salted and assaulted while they danced
To the tune of empty bones made of gemstones
Those who seek me already know me
Those people already know where to find me
How I bleed on every page for them to see
Passing by I smile at admiring faces
Passing on the only wisdom to their only question
How did you teach Tranquil Peace
To them I say
To do this, I gave up my sanity and gave in my senses
Some would pity me - but only those who understand why
Could ever smile along with me
