You were always in there with me
I have waited, falling deep
In the dark, red roses still grow
I fade out there and then
All day long, the ghost of John
Stood right in front of me
I wanted to go back to where
His face could not be seen
So I came to move uncontrolled
Woke from dreaming, slowly unfold
As the night fell down into the room
I could see there was nothing
Coming up from down below
Or falling from above
All things moving back into
The place we came out of
And when I look into
The formless face of time
I give back everything
That I once claimed as mine
At the ending, I stood alone
I fade out there and then
