Pummeled by the voices that came crawling across the
Forever turning from the calf into the cow
It made no difference in choosing either way
Halloween out walking with the vampires in the rain

No longer followed by the bullet from the gun
No long stuck inside the shadow of the sun
Sitting in the kitchen as the light is moving out
The drops of liquid slowly dripping from the spout

Pouring out every way, a vacant overflow
It slowly separates the soil from the stone
