Sniper in the Balcony

Opening the vent and spinning out into the world
Picked up by the muddy hands that pulled me to the earth
Circling infinitely, the soil erodes away
Captured underneath the cloth surrounding the flesh every day

Pinned onto the ground, but still continuing to grow
Banishing the expectations no longer controlled
Left to ponder in the dark, waiting for the day to begin
Pierced by the invasion that had crawled down beneath the skin

And up above mе like a sniper in the balcony
Firing off a round at mе, remaining unknown
And as the bullet hits the person that you think is me
I cannot be found, I've traded places with the clone

Finally can see that all the actions are entwined
Impossible to separate when all things are combined
Broke apart the symmetry, spread out around the sun
Left for all eternity to rise and re-become

Still hovering over like a sniper in the balcony
Hiding in the crowd until intentions are made known
And as the bullet hits the person that I used to be
I cannot be found, I've traded places with the clone
