Where Will I Be?
Where will I be when there is no more rain?
No drops to fall upon your windowpane
No more wind rushing through autumn’s trees
Dancing with the dry forgotten leaves
Where will I be when there is no more sun?
No light to shine its warmth on everyone
Will the moon still be high up above?
Inspiring all of those who fall in love
Will birds soar above you
or will they be gone too?
No whisper of wings in the sky
Perhaps I’ll be with them
I’ll find their gentle rhythm
And finally learn how to fly
Ooh
Will stars in the night sky
Whose light we can live by
Still lead us along with their beams?
If they shine forever
Then we may endeavour
to live in the glow of our dreams
Where will I be when there is no more spring?
Perhaps I’ll be a song for you to sing
