My Last Step

The wind carries my whispers over the ocean to places far away however I'm still alone in my world captured in my lonelyness
Once when I was walking over the ruins I recognized that I'm nearly alone, on my own
Alone in my honesty, alone in my search for the reason

I still remember the time when the night sent her black soldiers to push away the last rays of sunshine
It took place so fast,everything was quiet, no signs of life

But I keep on waiting for the first touches of my sun that caresses my skin and the warmth that fills my veins
I'm waiting for the first bird with its melody
To welcome the new light
And I am waiting for the day where flowers will break out of the ruin's stone
Fill the air with your charming waft

I'm wandering through eternity
