Listening to the sound of the rain
Sitting there wishing I could start again
The night sky folds over the town like a hug
Waiting for something to change
Sick of where I am
But too tired to walk away
Sitting on the rooftop watching cars roll by
Hoping all the answers will fall in front of my eyes
Can someone make me change
Or just do it for me
Do it for me
Lost inside of my mind
If I had a map it wouldn't change the tides
Cause I'm sure I wouldn't use it
Stuck in the same spot
Running around I thought I was lost
But I'm just going in circles
Sitting on the rooftop writing lyrics down
Listening to the breeze as it dances around
