I comment, I comment
I like and I love
I'm wowed and I'm shocked
Everyday in my feed

Something to ponder, something of need
Pops up every day on my social feed

I encourage and I preach
Try to uplift and to teach
Each day something bad, each hour something sad
But there's kittens and dogs
(And rainbow unicorns)
It ain't all that bad

Quizzes and games and pictures are shared
Videos, audios good, funny and bad
A waste of our time it is said to be
But now we've got more time than we need

Virtual friends are just that
But at times like these they're where it's at

Friends from my hometown
Friends from wherever
Sharing our stories and laughing together

I'm home alone like most of us are
In this time, it's so bizarre
From my isolation to yours
We can still make each other feel better
While we look for a cure.
