I Cant Be Myself
We all wear masks
And the time comes when we cannot
Remove them without removing some of
Our own skin
People who are two faced
Usually forget which masks they are
Wearing at some point in their lives
Every mornings I have to put
The mask for living
Every mornings I wake up and drop
My pride on the ground
And I go to the desk
Take the pills the doctor said
It’s for your madness
Oh, yeah
Out of home I guess
I can't be myself at all
This way we're living
Will be the curse to our children
It seems the feeling
Is like I'm diving in
Some quicksand
And I can't be myself
Can't even give the hell
I'm lost and empty
And I can't be myself
Can't even say farewell
Is this forever?
Out of home I guess
I can't be myself at all
People are dying because they're not
Who they really want to be
