I spend more time alone than I do out in the crowd
I'm a little too insecure to speak my thoughts aloud
It's hard to show my feelings to new people that I meet
But singing's easier than speaking it takes a weight off of me

I can find my way if I'm walking through the woods
But I'm the first to get lost in suburban neighborhoods
I'm still a bit behind the times this I will admit
But I'm happy with who I am and I wouldn't change a bit
