A Whole Year in Transit

I don’t miss the long nights
Getting trashed the Farwell house
I can’t waste all my time

I keep seeing ghosts of kids I hung out with

I threw it all away

I learned to live between the lines in perfect symmetry
Pretended that no one really needed me

When I wake up now everything’s different
I’m never going back to Kenwood and Oakland
Feels like I’m finally moving in the right direction
I didn’t ask for this I just made it happen
Things are finally working out the way that I planned it
I spent a whole year in transit
