Lulu's Nightmare

cigarettes, beer, ticket, money.
what could possibly go wrong?
from Chicago to Atlanta
and then up to New York City
then to London where I fall on a train
with a body full of someone else's air
I wake up hurting
and it's probably Northampton again

and Lulu's waiting on the line

but at least I got a photograph first
now there's a boat here and I'm on it
so I guess that I'm alright
though I seem to have this terrible thirst
