Life's calling you son, time to travel on
To see the world, and to learn just how to sing your song
But as you go, though we love you so
And may the road before you be a joyous one

Right from the start, sing 'em from the heart
Let every song be part of who and where you are
And if late at night, you're feeling all alone

But if I know you, there's nothing you can't do
You always do your best when you have things to prove
Far as I can see, you're better man than me
