Rainy Day

I miss the days when times were much simpler
I used to play with my cousins and my sist-as
Back when, making music was just a pipe dream
Now I sing on stages under the light beams

It's crazy how fast time passes by
One day you're family here, next day they're in the sky
Rest in peace to the ones we lost, and the ones still here
But we'll never ever come across again

Cause friends can turn to enemies and enemies to friends
Acquaintances to strangers who don't make it to the end
Cause destiny it splits us from the roads where we began
So we can go where belong like it was all part of the plan

The truth is we choose who we wanna be
But we only separated from death by one degree
These are my thoughts when I meditate
Looking out the windows at the clouds on a rainy day
