Skull Echo

I know you've said it just to cool me,
but my senseless senses,
oh, how they fool me.
I'm drowning in pavement,
every step more certain,

But if we're all blind
can we deduce our blindness?

Millions of light years into my own
I'm locked in a narrow capsule of a bone
and with two radars in the front I see a tiny dot of you
shining from afar.

My radars strain, adjusting lenses,
The hope is flooding all my senses
and just to glimpse the form of you I'd give up my pretenses
of knowing what we are.
