Every time a caring word
Has healed my troubled heart
Jesus, it's Your voice I recognize
And whenever I've felt lonely
Or about to fall apart
You've shown Yourself in
Someone's gentle eyes
And though this world may sometimes feel
Like it's a desert land
I've seen Your flowers growing in the sand

I could weep at the thought
That along my winding walk
It's your grace I keep on receiving
You're the light shining gold
Making gardens in my soul
And through your love
That goes beyond all reason
I have seen a Corner of Eden

I have seen some people
Who had nothing to their name
Handing out the gift of hope
With just a smile and I have felt Your mercy
Reaching through a friend of mine
When they forgave my selfishness and pride
And every time my spirit
It gets covered in life's dust
You wash me in the shower of Your love
