Along the river running
By the ocean turning
Under the sky's flooding
Swirls of grey
Frantically falling
Looking for a place to land
In the night the rains came
In the night the waves came
In the night the men came
In the night the threat came
And we prayed
We learnt to hold our breath

Took the risk of loving
Took his tongue in my mouth

Broke down the barricades
We bent our backs to running
