Kissing Cabernet

It was champagne first that turned my head - before introduced to gin and juice. She was tall and slender, spilling over. Then beer passed quickly through, I hardly knew she'd come, but when she did she weighed on my mind all the next long morning.

I'm kissing Cabernet, and wish for something blonder. Then switch to Chardonnay and wish for something stronger. I get home later than I ought to, come in with a careless feeling. She'd got me all undone, stained me, left me reeling.

So pour me something, fill up my evenings at home when I'm up late. And have patience, I'll make sweet things for you from these unripe grapes.

Pour me something, empty my evenings alone when I'm up late. And have patience, I'll make sweet things from unripe grapes.
