Wait up for me
As I look down
I saw what I'd become

Broken hearts
Mapped in shuns
Pulled apart
With star stripe

Fast as light
I ran back that night
A lighthouse waits

As I hang on
Sights to speak
A fear we've cut

All this noise
For a hollow cause
The largest heart
And an equal belief
Sing your songs
To the warmest of spots
And on their moves
On a fad star of fool

Soldiers, atop towers
Fail to see, no enemy

Send your swords
To the war, mystery
A blackened heart, slow

City sleeps
And begs belief
And hearts will wait
For easy meat
