Lived a really sheltered life
I never could find the words to describe me

Always felt like an alien
So I became a social chameleon

My identity was programmed
Instilled in me from birth
Who knew that there was so much more of me to unearth

The internet was the place for me
It helped a lot with my self discovery
Learned about so many things that i never knew before

And gender’s just a social construct we continue to employ

When you’re young it’s hard to find the words
And when you finally do all that comes is nerves
