Pick Me Up

I woke up this morning
Looking kinda tired in the eyes
The fire alarm was going
I couldn't even tell you why

Then I got in a jam on the freeway
Some guy flipped me off and it wasn't my fault

Well maybe just a little bit.. oh well

One of those days it's always something, but what can ya do?
May as well just keep it coming, know I'm gonna get through, but

Sometimes I need a pick me up
To help me through the day
Drank all the coffee in my cup
I still don't feel okay

I could go see a therapist
But I got no way to pay
I think I need a pick me up
Someone send it my way

It went cold in the shower
Couldn't wash the soap outta my hair
I waited out for an Uber
But they cancelled on me every time
