Just last night
I had a dream
Of things so real
But could never achieve
Maybe parts will just come true
I hope there's a little deja vu
The first thing that popped in my head
Was me being tall and walking instead
The second thing I saw that night
Was my best friend right by my side

My head was spinning
Into a mystery
Inside my brain
Lies a demons cage
Full of many broken thoughts
No wonder I always feel so lost

Then the next thing that happened to me
I was at this place where I used to see
All my friends and all my family
I miss them all so very dearly
I go to the bar and I hop in the chair
And the one I thought got away was there
She said wow you really grew up fast
What do you want inside this glass
I pick my drink of choice and sip
I feel it hit my throat a bit
She gets off work and sits beside me
Looks up at me and didn't stop smiling
We talked for a bit had a few good laughs
And then the next part is the last
