Immersion
Sheer the light shies from her reflection
On severed ties she grasped and swung
Am I not just with my protection
To stand in wares before her wormed tongue
Those memories still haunt you
Your shadows they still follow
Twilight and vagueness
Immersion, Immersion
Arms outstretched in desperate fashion
There she whirls and whirls again
Despite my theatre of precautions
Her smile belies the truth in them
Still cornered now I find myself
Oh the mouse in arms a ready
I open the door to find her there
And I just smile through my displeasure
