Why can't I handle myself
When they feel loved by everyone else
Why can't I have some fun
When they make fun of everyone
Why do I fit like a glove
When I can't take a beating and a bit of tough love
I like to keep entertained
So all these stupid thoughts don't rattle 'round in my brain
Why is everyone so far away
When I can't shut my mouth cuz I've got so much to say
Time keeps on ticking away
The days that have went by without a hi or a hey
Why can't I write a song
Outside of my room, cuz all the words feel wrong
