Descend
When we look up at the night sky
Why do we focus on the dark and not the light?
When we look up at the night sky
We start to drift away from these white lights
What is it we're running away from?
That we're growing older, deaths hand on our shoulder, the end
Each day, I grow older
And the nights, they grow darker
I no longer see in the distance
With a total lack of persistence
All we want to do is leave this fucking nightmare
What can we do? Is there anybody out there?
Who hears the walls closing in around us?
Just because we're struggling
Doesn't mean we're sinking
Somebody wake me up and I'll swim
Towards the lighthouse across the sea
My mind is a fucking prison
Leave this fucking nightmare
All we want to do is leave this fucking nightmare
What can we do? Is there anybody out there?
Who hears the walls closing in around us?
