Nature’s plans are now altered forever
By mankind’s preposterous endeavor

Taken for granted, taken by force,
taken for our own need
We trample it down,
march on headlong into the future and feed
Our ever growing hunger for land
Don’t leave them a chance to survive

A shattered biosphere sacrificed in vain
A planetary charnel house is all that remains
As thousands of life forms in recent times
have ceased to exist

on the endangered list
Can a whole society of people be wrong?
