Ice Age in the Immediate Future Pt. II: To Leave It All Behind
Fekete Szabolcs
Ominous wastes of snow and ice, everything else got stripped
Even the moon beyond the fog is like a lantern in a crypt
Beneath my feet there is the globe’s Equator, so I’m told
Science never triumphed over its fate, the Earth has grown cold
No regret to leave it all behind
Let nature spread its pallid shroud upon our grave
I want to know how the human race will meet its destiny
Will it be able to change its ways and restore its dignity
Or will it just perish miserably, unworthy of lament?
Divine order, reason and fairness denied – desolation is imminent
No regret to leave it all behind
Let nature spread its pallid shroud upon our grave
