Brighter Blue

All the sites I’ve seen, all the miles I’ve walked, all the friends who listened politely as I talked, about my big ideas to find a brighter blue, would they be what they became? Would they find their place without you?

So we take our chances, that’s what dreams demand. But are my eyes alone enough to spot the shifting Sands? And when I claim my prize, will I speak the truth when they ask if all the things I’ve done would be what they became without you, mm… without you?
