Well we move around so much, it's hard to come back home
Home's a place you're supposed to feel at ease when you're alone
And I can feel at ease for an hour or two

So I pick up my guitar and I try to write a song
Maybe today I'll get a good one, usually I'm wrong
Stroll into the kitchen to cook us up some food
But the pantry is bare and the Frigidaire is lookin' like a tomb
