Seeping wounds interlace
Gasping as nurture's light recedes
Left to echo these silent pleas
In the shadows, suffering resides
Symphonies of torment, where hope hides
Nature's grip, a relentless bind
In the depths of despair, a soul confined
Innocence obscures the axiom of being
A prisoner of brazen hopelessness
Plasma puddles
Frail skin tears
Peeling and torn
Raped and scorned
From innocence, we falter
To decay, we wither
Apathy forms in our infancy
A dormant precursor to frailty
Enfeebled by somber twilight
