Imagination Situation

Sitting at home with nothing to do
Bored with the TV and my iPad, too
It's a complication
Needs remediation

I sit on the chair and close my eyes
I begin to think about fun times
Filled with jubilation
A cause for celebration

All of a sudden it dawns on me
The power to have fun is inside of me
It's a revelation
Use my imagination

It's an imagination situation
My mind is the location for ideation
Time to think of some recreation
To keep me busy with some activation
It's an imagination situation
There's an indication of determination
An introduction, an invitation
To think without limitation

I go get a sketchbook, it's drawing time
Funny characters and backgrounds I see in my mind
What's the coloration?
Time for illustration

Now I'm thinking of a story that I can write
With characters and scenes that are out of sight
Time for concentration
A story formulation

Then I have a song that I'm thinking of today
Write it down so I remember it before it goes away
With the right instrumentation
Could be a sensation
