Scars

Suffering has a way of making you learn

They're not for everyone, but for the reserved
God's been gracious more than I deserve
Jesus took all my pain and willingly suffered

The precious Savior put Himself under

Sometimes I wish the scars weren't there
I wish I didn't carry the burden they bear
But maybe if they were gone, I wouldn't care
Maybe that's the reason why they're there
