We Walked

In the desert just to make it to the other side
None of us know what’s ahead feels like it’s suicide
Blind leading blind, blinded by the city lights
It’s getting darker but we gotta make it through the night

These air forces getting older but we feeling fly
In this struggle, it’s a marathon, we need the drive
If we don’t get it why the heck are we still alive
A bit of hope is all that’s needed so we’ll survive

Rocky pathways that’ll probably give us blisters -see
I learned a lot of lessons from my brother and my sisters
Never walk in dark alleys even in the daytime
Nor take a lift don’t you ever dare hitch hike

Muddy shoes are they all got all story
It can only be a hustler, we all walking to the glory
It ain’t easy, no one said that be easy when you grow up
But it’s better late than never, imagine if you never showed up
On earth - so

I love I love to live but what’s the point if I don’t give
My life to what I love, My life depends on love

Ain’t it funny when the money makes it lovely
