Taste of Candy

Everything looks black again
I search and I search but I can't find
Always again this awful migraine
This seems the worst mountain I've ever climbed

I look in the mirror and watch my face turn pale
I go out and start my search for the man
He can pout and end to this fairytale
I can't find him and the shivering already began

So I try to cure me with alcohol
Why are the best things not free
Maybe I'll better move to Nepal
All the time watching the snow fall

And it's always the same game you play
It's like a very very old cliché
Like an inner voice you ought to obey
I've just realized I'm the protegé

Sometimes I realize I've fallen too
And I thought the smartest would never do
But this desire that leads me to the edge
I always stop before the final hedge

And I know it's difficult to resists
And you always think there's something you
Have missed
And they insist you to try it too
And afterwards you want that feeling to renew
But when you're into it, it's like voodoo
You'll carry it all your life like a tattoo

I've fallen too
Just like you
Right into the blue
As if there was nothing else to do
