And then something changed
As things always do
We're chasms at close range
Surfaces not set in stone
But half-crystallized
A snapshot of snowswept ice
A fleeting disguise
But night leaves an open window
And in this dream
No hearts can break
So turn the lights out
And come stargaze

When you crack and split at the ridge
