Assist the Cause

Sick of this idea that we can't do a thing
When all we gotta do is rise up
We now have a tendency to let ourselves suffocate
When confronted all we do is shit bricks and run
I try to find a way to somehow help
But no one seems to want to assist the cause
They're too busy worrying about the smallest issues
And it's the smallest minds that seem to recieve the applause
Now I'm glad there's finally a rise
But there's still too many people falling for the same things over and over
But I hope humanity doesn't keep getting colder
