The Sea After a Storm

Ane the sun fights the clouds
Like winter fights spring
And the waves fight the wind
It seems to make no sense
Back and forth again and again

Hve you ever seen the sea after a storm
Or the sky after rain
Have you ever seen death after life
When it all recurs and makes sense again

Someone thinks you are rich
Someone else calls you poor
Like happy and sad times and everything
In between back and forth again and again

And the dark fights the light
Like silence fights noise
Like all food chains have an end
One day all fighting will stop

Have you ever seen the sea after a storm
Or the sky after rain
Can you imagine life after death
When it all recurs where will we be?
