Ernie: Well, that's very interesting, Bert..

Bert: Well, maybe not but listen to what happens when I put them all together, Ernie..

Bert: nice? Ernie, it's breathtaking! Hey -- now everyone at home, go get a can, or a pan, or a whistle, or -- or whatever you can find, and you can join in too

I suddenly heard something new
I was sitting around
Trying to sleep
Practicing counting by

I knew I had found something new
It was just the water pipe when the faucet got turned on
But it lightened up my life like a nightingale's sweet song!
And now I'm happy with my can and my pan
