Enough

I thought you were the one I loved. I thought you were my freedom, you were my drug. I thought the more of you the more relief. But when it was supposed to be perfect I just got more grief. Well I've had enough, it's time to wake up. I thought it could only get better. I thought that we would last forever. I was chewing the chewed, I couldn't taste it. I knew it was nonsense, but I couldn't face it. Well I've had enough, it's time to wake up. And I pray, I'm just praying that I can't let go. Fighting for the right while not knowing what's wrong. Trying to change the world with a song. And all those romantic days, even the best, I realize now led me to more distress. We'll I've had enough, it's time to wake up.
