I'll Write a Book

I dare myself to write a book, to show my naked heart
I'll dig myself down in the sand, until the work is done

I'll change my mind from time to time, when dirt get in my eyes
It's so hard for me to start
To write lines about by heart

Now rumor says I'm a seeking soul
I'll shake it off and try to see what's in this for me
When my book is done

The weight of all unfinished thoughts, they make me start to doubt
I'm looking for a hand to hold
Or I'll drown all of my thoughts

I'll change my mind from time to time
Just shake it of and try again
And when i start to doubt my trail of thoughts
I'll turn the other way

I'll dig my head deep in the ground
where dirt gets in my eyes
and when my book is done
I'll start again
