Frost, Sparkling
Frost, sparkling on the stairs
A veil of cobwebs
The smell of rose incense.
A sky of paper hearts
Is dangling from the roof.
A cocoon.
Well, we all try to build castles
To hide us from the world.
Underneath the duvets we curl.
Keys and flowers on the mantelpiece
Coffee and cigarettes
Never opened curtains
I never leave my bed.
