Small Beams
Marius Richts
A distant lighthouse flashing faintly
Sending small beams into nowhere
Swallowed up by an endless sky
Most will get lost and never be seen
Hour after hour
Minute after minute
Counting every second
Of an infinite nightmare
Countless fishermen lost their sight
Blinded within a single blink
No one knew he would be mislead
Into the deep caves of a dark blue sea
Hour after hour
Minute after minute
Counting every second
Of an infinite nightmare
Some where doomed by greedy storms
Many got buried under the metallic rain
Pounding from above without mercy
And some just gave up in sorrow
Hour after hour
Minute after minute
Counting every second
Of an infinite nightmare
Hour after hour
Minute after minute
Counting every second
Of an infinite nightmare
